Plant Trees to Contribute to Clean Air

""Ihr könnt uns ignorieren, die Natur EUCH nicht" Zitat: Dieter Thelen "

You can ignore us, Nature’ does not!

It is a well-known fact that the specie that contributes to the destruction of planet Earth is, at the same time, the specie that can stop and undo this process. Each one of us can contribute to the worldwide “Go Green — Clean Air” revolution and do his or her part in the protection of planet Earth’s health and wellbeing so our children have the same fair chance in life we all had. Whether the part in your personal “Go Green — Clean Air ” revolution may be big or small, carried out together with like-minded friends or groups, or from the folds of your privacy, as a counterbalance to excessive CO2 emissions every action counts and helps to achieve the goal we should all be striving for:

Forest of Peace is a foundation that puts its money where its mouth is. In May 2009 we started our first project called Chok Chai 2010. We bought 4 Rai (1.6 acres, 6,400 square meters) of land located 2 hours north of Bangkok, in Chok Chai, Nakhon Ratchasima, and planted 1’600 fast growing baby teak trees. Due to their unusual big leaves teak trees play a huge part in the CO2 cleanup in the air we breathe. They absorb toxic carbon dioxide (CO2) and convert it during daylight through photosynthesis into much needed oxygen (O2), which the leaves then release back into the air.   Our present lifestyle produces more CO2 than the remaining plant life on earth can cope with. There are no man-made machineries that function as substitute gas converters for felled trees and forests. The time has come where man has to reevaluate his own actions: stop felling trees; start planting trees. Only by planting as many trees as possible can we help nature to do its job successfully. We all depend on trees; Forest of Peace depends on you adopting our trees so we can plant even more trees.

Do the Deed and Support Forest of Peace’s Tree Projects

Forest of Peace is but one contributor to this international movement for clean air. With our Tree Projects like Adopt a Tree or iCTET — intelligent Child Teak Education Trust we give individuals a chance to be a part of the world-wide battle against CO2 without having to leave the comfort of their home. Furthermore, with your one-time adoption payment you not only support a tree, but Forest of Peace will channel your money to support the underprivileged in developing countries with worthy charity projects.
